Madrid’s Kilometre 0 is very close to Hotel Regente: just a 4-minute walk away! Visit the spot where locals and Spanish people from all over the country celebrate New Year’s Eve or have a picture taken next to the statue of the famous bear and the strawberry tree, the symbol of the city.
An 11-minute pleasant walk away is the official residency of the Spanish royal family (although they currently live in Zarzuela Palace), with its fantastic gardens, the armoury… don’t miss it!
Madrid’s Cathedral awaits you next to the Royal Palace, making up this beautiful architectonic complex. Remember that you cannot visit it during liturgical celebrations.

The Casa de Campo is the largest public park in the region of Madrid. As well as nature, it holds the Zoo, the Parque de Atracciones de Madrid theme park or the cable car.
